Paul, the "which dictators did this politician help into power" game is a good one. Have you applied that logic to any other proponents of human rights? Or is it selective?Sorry you won't be making it to the public meeting, mate. I am sure that you would have a tremendously constructive contribution to make.Shab, that's hopeless.

He's so committed to human rights he helped Bob Mugabwe take over in Zimbabwe- the silly old fart is senile, and an embarassment. He was a hopeless PM and defence minister before that, and is now off with the pixies. Anyone who takes notice of some geezer who can't even control his trousers needs help. I see all the big names have come out for this blather-fest as well; I think I'll be washing my hair that evening.

Look, I've never been a fan of Fraser, but it seems in his later years he's actually committed to human rights. Gotta be a good thing. He's a still a very conservative guy, but not like many of today's neo-cons, when power is everything. Today's Libs have moved so far to the right…
