  The quesrion remain, what became of the soldier who shot James Miller? Was he acting under orders or of his own volition?

  In many ways it doesn’t matter. There is a culture of impunity in the IDF. Few people are ever prosecuted, and even fewer punished for murdering innocents.

  No doubt abtou that Ant. The article did state that Israel were very co-operative with the investigation. One wonders if they are prepared to actually punish the crime or merely patthemselves on the back for being co-operative and turn a blind eye to it.

  Actually, the article says that the Israeli’s were “not very forthcoming” during the investigation.
