Murdoch’s little helper

Let’s say you’re a commentator whose predictions have been proven wrong time and time again. You advocated war in Iraq and suggested it “could have terrifically good effects throughout the Middle East.” Your views on the region were always inaccurate (woefully so) and yet the mainstream media still wants to hear what you’ve got to say (and they wonder why people are tuning out?)

Your name is William Kristol and welcome to your new job at Time magazine. The man makes other extreme Zionists seem mellow (and less dishonest.)

(Of course, Kristol’s wish fulfilment pronouncements were echoed by any number of mainstream journalists post 9/11, and a few deluded little souls today.)
