At the time, it was argued that Google purchase Blogger because of the advertising revenue they could make by placing ads in the blogsphere. Clearly, Google saw the trend coming. Overall, I think blogging allows people to connect and this is good thing. However, a number of countries limit their citizens’ access to certain content, while curtailing their ability to express their true opinions.
