No Iranian gays in the village

During Ahmadinejad’s talk at Columbia, he was asked about homosexuals in Iran. His (ludicrous) answer?

“In Iran, we dont have homosexuals like in your country. We don’t have that in our country. In Iran, we do not have this phenomenon. I don’t know who’s told you we have it.”

  • I cant think of a suitable word for this guy. He spins as well as the rest I guess.
Its my understanding that Iran elected this guy. WHat does it mean if the US moves in to remove him and the existing powers in Iran? And what does it say about US ’so-called’ commitment to democracy when it decides to overthrow those that it does not like. Sounds a lot like the US actions in Central and South America. Repugnant.
