An interesting overview, Anthony.

I would like to comment specifically on the appointment of Rahm Emanuel as Obama's Ch3ief of Staff. The problem of this appointment, in my opinion, goes much deeper than you suggest.

It is not that it "indicates that (Obama) is not as progressive as some may hope".

Rahm Emanuel has been a hatchet man for the Zionist Lobby for a quarter century. His first 'assignment' was to orchestrate the demise of Paul Findley. He did volunteer support for the IDF in 1991 in Israel (not the US army). He has what George Washington would have described as a "passionate attachment" to a foreign power. He should pay no role in any US Administration.

Emanuel's appointment signifies that Israeli penetration of the US Administration will continue on into this Administration. That's not change. It probably is treason.

It makes the idea that Israel is NOT be spying on the white House implausible. One may as well move the official residence of the President to AIPAC HQ.

Unless he decouples himself from the Zionist war machine, Obama's honeymoon with the electorate will be short.

All new White House appointees should be subjected to genuine and thorough security vetting. The level of ties to Israel demonstrated by Rahm Emanuel's career to date should preclude his apointment. I can't realy imagine him getting a day pass in any sane security system - let alone serve as Chief of Staff.
