[...] After my story in Crikey a few days ago – talking about the concept of boycotting Israel and the one-state solution – a Jewish Australian responded yesterday. The following is my (unpublished) response: The decision to support a cultural and academic boycott of Israel is not something to be taken lightly. It is done, like the global outrage against apartheid South Africa or Sri Lanka, because normalised relations with an occupying state is not morally justifiable. [...]

"they allow actual illegal immigrants who are not refugees from anything at all to go and steal Palestine and build there"
Shame on you Antony for publishing this drivel ... whatever one thinks of those who came to Israel after World War Two they certainly were refugees.

[...] Following my article in Crikey yesterday, David Imber responds today (under the headline: “This time Loewenstein, you went too far”): As a Jew who is used to reading controversial pieces about Israel (and as someone who was friends with him at uni) I have been content to let the views of Antony Loewenstein go through to the keeper. He is a passionate man who is entitled to his opinions even though some of his facts have been proved wrong and some of his conclusions questionable. [...]

The strangest thing of all is that the world will not tolerate "illegal" immigrants even when they are simply refugees and even though we have the refugee convention but they allow actual illegal immigrants who are not refugees from anything at all to go and steal Palestine and build there.

Australia is a pathetic disgrace and having read Paul Daley's appalling book Beersheba I can understand better how the zionist shill's get their grip into people.

Daley managed to spend his whole time in the region researching the book without talking to a single actual Bedouin who might have family members who survived the massacre we committed in Surafend.

I discovered at the end that he was the guest of the Pratt foundation of criminal zionists and he even blindly swallowed the rubbish that Australians gravitated towards the tiny number of jews in Palestine in 1917 when we all know that Australians then and now wouldn't know the difference - they are all just wogs to us.
