The intense, amoral disinformation re Iran continues daily around the globe.
For the record, Ahmadinajad DOES NOT DENY THE HOLOCAUST…..in a MSNBC interview on Youtube he questions why Palestinians should be made to pay for the Nazis evil regime.
He also confirms that he has never said that he wants Israel blown off the map.
But such disinformation continues unabated via the US State Department, Israel, the Rudd Government & Zionists world-wide.
As for Iran’s current domestic scenario, it should be remembered that in 1952, Iran was the FIRST COUNTRY IN THE MIDDLE EAST TO ELECT A DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT. But the US didn’t like the idea, and organised a military based revolt in 1953 which saw the Shah of Iran’s cronies installed as a US puppet government. IS IT ANY WONDER THAT THE CURRENT IRANIAN POWER ELITE FEAR A RETURN TO DEMOCRACY???
One can at least understand Iran’s position on the Great Satan, while not condoning the use of force to put down the democratic movement.
Armchair critics of Iran need to ask themselves: what would you do if you were in power in Iran at present?

Today is the last Friday of Islamic month of Ramadan, which was declared as the International Al-Quds Day by the Leader of Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979 – in Muslims’ support for the recovery of Islam’s third most sacred city, Al-Quds (Jerusalem) after Makkah and Medinah. The first rally was carried out in Tehran which drew close to one million people. Since then, gradually, it has become an international event.

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians from all walks of life and religious backgrounds gathered today in Tehran to show their solidarity with the Islamic Resistance inside occupied Palestine. Mohammad Mahdi Abd-e-Khodai, the leader of the ‘Islamic Devotees’ society issued a statement, saying:

“Quds Day is not a concept limited to particular parties and groupings and is a global issue. It’s in keeping with the values and objectives of the Islamic Revolution. Muslims should avoid schisms and stand united against the common enemies. Muslim nations should unite and hold demonstrations on this day to vociferously protest against the brutal massacres of Gazzans by the Zionist regime …. The reputation of the Zionist regime has been ruined and it’s only now trying to survive.

Since the rallies in support of the failed June ‘Green revolution’ are banned – a few thousand Green Card holders joined the rally to show their frustration by raising green flags and clenching fists against Ahmadinejad for defeating the USrael’s favourite candidate, Mousavi.

Dr. Ahmadinejad in his pre-Khutba Friday prayers speech told the worshippers that “confrontation with Zionist regime is a national and religious duty” to ensure global peace. Dr. Ahmadinejad urged all nations particularly the regional to stand up to Israel, arguing that the very existence of the regime (Zionist) has jeapordized the whole region. The existence of the Zionist regime amounts to an eternal insecurity in the region. The Zionist regime is a symbol of lies and deception, which was founded on colonialist aatitude.

“If the Holocaust, as you claim, is true, why don’t you allow a probe into the issue?” – asked Dr. Ahmadinejad. Then the president promised Iran’s full support for the Palestinian nation and said: “Quds Day is the day of unity for Iranians, Muslims and the international community.”
