An intriguing post from The Magnes Zionist that indicates that public debate how Israel/Palestine is starting to get mugged by reality:
When a young modern orthodox pulpit rabbi in Chicago calls for an unlimited right of return of Palestinian refugees to the State of Israel, and proposes a bi-national Israel-Palestine, conjuring up the ghost of Magnes, you know that “the times, they are a changin’.”
Rabbi Asher Lopatin published in June on the moreorthodoxy blog an essay entitled, “What Netanyahu Should Have Proposed.” Here are some of his proposals, which he calls, in a nod to Muslim sensibilities, the Five Pillars of the One Democratic State from the Jordan to the Mediterranean.
The continuing failure to get any solution is just one reason why anti-Semitism is seemingly on the rise world-wide. Spain is no exception, as I suggest in my blog:

Why do people have to whine incessantly about anti-semitism every time anyone criticises Israel?
Arabs and many other people are semite, jews are jews. Get over yourself.
Marilyn, I quite agree with you about the whining that goes on when anyone criticises Israel or its government. As I say in that blog:
“…too many journalists and cartoonists think that Judaism is the same thing as the state of Israel, or even the Israeli government.
There are plenty of Jews inside and outside Israel who do not support the Israeli government and strongly disagree with the excess force and other discriminatory policies it has undoubtedly imposed on Palestinians. (I would argue that self-defence against terrorists across its border makes moral sense though.)” I invite you to read the whole blog my site.
The “get over yourself” comment you made is juvenile. It is as meaningless as saying “get a life”.
