Furthermore human rights are inalienable and are guaranteed by international law. The Palestinians need to demand their human rights back. They need to demand that the international community applies international law (UN resolutions, human rights conventions, etc) to the Israel/Palestine conflict without fear or favour. One thing the Palestinians will not do is allow the denial of their human rights to be made permanent. 

The only thing the Palestinians need to negotiate is war reparations, compensation and internationally guaranteed security provisions so that: 

- never again are they expelled from their homes and then forcibly prevented from returning 

- never again are their homes, villages, towns and neighbourhoods demolished and razed to the ground 

- never again are their homes and land stolen to make way for foreign colonisers 

- never again are their men, women and children arbitrarily arrested, imprisoned, tortured, extra-judicially executed, bombed, besieged, walled in or collectively punished 

- never again are Palestinians denied the right (as enjoyed by all peoples of the world) to defend themselves 

Human rights are not a zero-sum game. Denying Palestinians their rights will not enhance the rights of Israelis (it has done the exact opposite).
