Why Israel will always struggle against BDS

It is revealing that the Jewish state is trying to manage the growing BDS movement globally by simply ignoring the reasons behind the outrage. The idea that the West Bank occupation and siege on Gaza would justify punitive measures against Israel is simply unimaginable. Looks like we’ll just have to continue pointing out the obvious: Israel cannot be a democracy and an occupier at the same time:

Professor Gil Troy directed the working group titled “Delegitimization of Israel: Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions” at the Conference of the Global Forum for Combating Anti-Semitism Thursday.

Prof. Troy spoke with [pro-settler] Arutz Sheva TV about the boycott phenomenon and said that each case should be dealt with carefully, balancing between the will to fight back against the boycotts and the desire to not give the boycotters what they want – exposure and media coverage.
