- Australia’s leading Zionist lobby continues its run of Islamophobia.
- Hamas wants no belly-dancing in Gaza. The new Palestinian culture minister rather likes Titanic, too.
- The UK Telegraph, an initial support of the Iraq war, realises that withdrawal is the only option for the occupied country. “No one likes living in an occupied country”, it offers.
- The future of Kurdish and Turkish relations is debated.
- So much for Australian government generosity:
Despite its generous promises of more foreign aid, Australia has slid rapidly towards the bottom of the pack of Western aid donors, with its aid program now the fourth-smallest of the 22 donor countries.
- One of Russia’s finest journalists writes: “We are using Stalin’s methods again, this time to fight terrorism.”
- Israel’s Green Leaf party may have failed to win any Knesset seats in the recent Israeli election, but at least they make fun ads.

Well, I can understand from a theological point of view why they would ban belly-dancing … but allow Titanic?! Now that is crazy.

I’m a bit confused by the idiosyncratic nomenclature used on your blog. Could you just clarify what “Islamophobic” means in Loewensteinland.
It belongs with his definition of hysteria. For those he hates, hysteria is any complaint.
For Antony, Islamaphobia is any question regarding the intent of Muslims toward western society and civilization.
Replace Islamaphobia with anti-Semitism and Muslims with Israeli and you could have a quote from David Horowitz.
“Islamophobic” = A general, unreasonable fear of Islamic people, culture and ideas.
It is often manifests itself in the apparent denigration of all things Islamic, when in fact it is merely an irrational fear that is often inculcated in sufferers when they are young or borne of a sense of inferiority (thus the need to attack it in order to lessen that feeling of inadequacy).
Instead of being called anti-Semites, those who oppose Jews, Judaism, Zionism and Israel should be called Judeophobes.
then there’s the Islamophobe with Malice variation where fear is augmented by irrational hate. Islamophobes with Malice often quote Daniel Pipes as a source. See also Misoslamist. (View Comical Ali posts)
The people who want the ‘troops out’ are wrong.
The troops should stay…..until the Coalition of the Wiling are well and truly defeated.
…Islamophobic, from the Greek “phobia” or fear.
