Without a fully installed Prime Minister any Israeli attack would have probably been delayed. Along with Olmert would probably come Israeli defence and intelligence chiefs to meet their US opposite numbers again. All essential for planning. The import of the Olmert visit can only be "proven" if any attack happens in the next few months.
