Fisk’s heart is in the right place, but I have to say that Whitney is right on the money with this one. Nasrallah has been very moderate and measured in the way he has managed this protest. The Siniora government has long lost it’s legitimacy, being propped up only by Western money and military muscle.
The elites are simply hanging onto power so that they can cash in on the sale of state assets to foreign interests.
