The faux brigade

Arianna Huffington, mistress behind the Huffington Post, can be prone to hyperbole (this piece about Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is nauseating in its pomposity and inaccuracy.)

At other times, however, her analysis is pure gold (such as today’s article on blogging.)

Hypocrisy is the staple of the right. How often have there been posts promoting the killing or hanging of their opponents? Rush Limbaugh feigns outrage at the idea of an individual wishing the death of someone they have never met, yet says nothing of Pat Robertson’s call for the assassination of Hugo Chavez, or Geln Reynolds calling for he assassination of Iran’s nuclear omniscients and leaders.
