The homeland

What kind of society has Israel become? A bitterly divided and racist one, according to a new study:

Over half of the Jewish population in Israel believes the marriage of a Jewish woman to an Arab man is equal to national treason, according to a recent survey by the Geocartography Institute.

The survey, which was conducted for the Center Against Racism, also found that over 75 percent of participants did not approve of apartment buildings being shared between Arabs and Jews. Sixty percent of participants said they would not allow an Arab to visit their home.

Five hundred Jewish men and women participated in the poll, which was published Tuesday.

According to the survey, racism against Arabs in Israel has seen a sharp rise since a similar survey was conducted two years ago.

In 2006, 247 racist acts against Arabs were reported, as opposed to 225 one year prior.

About 40 percent of participants agreed that “Arabs should have their right to vote for Knesset revoked”. The number was 55 percent lower in the previous survey. Also, over half of the participants agreed that Israel should encourage its Arab citizens to immigrate from the country.

Over half of the participants said they would not want to work under the direct management of an Arab, and 55 percent said “Arabs and Jews should be separated at entertainment sites”.

Participants were asked what they felt when they overheard someone speaking Arabic. Thirty-one percent said they felt hatred, while 50 percent said they felt fear.

Over 56 percent of participants said they believed that Israel’s Arab citizens posed both a security and a demographic threat to the country.

When asked what they thought of Arab culture, over 37 percent replied, “The Arab culture is inferior.”

Zionists may claim that Israel is the Middle East’s only democracy, but it seems that many Israelis would rather all Arabs left the country entirely.

Where is Rosa Parks when you need her? This all reads suspiciously like the 1950’s segregation laws in the US and is very frightening indeed.

It is one thing to want a Jewish state but the Winograd Commission has just “discovered” what Finkelstein and Pappe have described in graphic detail before.

Israel is a military dictatorship with the military making all the decisions.

One has to admire the tenacity of the Israelis. Imagine if Australians had to put with over eighty years of mad Muhammadans trying to push them into the sea? I suspect, Australia would have dealt decisively with them decades ago.

Well Aboriginals’ have put up with ‘mad’ whities trying to push them into extinction for more than 200 years, viva.

They could use Israel as a precedent for reclaiming the land stolen not up to 2,700 years ago but, in some cases, within the last decade. Not only is their claim stronger because the loss is more recent, but whereas the Kingdom of Israel lasted a non consecutive total of less than 80 years and Judea/Sameria less than 400, they have been here for at least 60,000 years!

When would be a good time for them to reclaim - without compensation - the bit you occupy, apparently illegitimately, Viva?

Oops, cut the most important part of my reply while transferring from the spell checker:

The only time anyone tried to “push them into the sea” was 1973/4 and that only after 6 years of Israel’s illegal occupation of the West Bank.

The wars of 1947/48, 1956, 1967, Lebanon 1982 and Lebanon 2006 were all wars of choice instigated by Israel (Jewish settlers in ‘47).

One has to admire the tenacity of the Israelis.

One has to admire the tenacity of everyone in this conflict. The only thing more impressive than Israeli tenacity is the Palestinian refusal to vamoose despite 40 years of an appalling inhumane military occupation.

That said, there is nothing admirable about the Afrikaner-style racist values and behaviour.

israel began as a group of bandits. what kind of society would you expect? their survival depends on constant military response to the rage and hatred of those they disposessed, how can you go on shooting people who don’t have the sense of decency to lie down and die, unless you learn to despise them?

justice is not always triumphant, the iroqois, cherokee, lakota and nez perce peoples can testify- but the western world finally stopped supporting the boer/apartheid regime in south africa, maybe someday they will regain some self respect and tell israel and it’s usa sponsor:”you’re time is up!”

You poor deluded thing. Don’t you get it? It is the Palestinians who are the true heirs to Hitler.

    ARTICLE ELEVEN

The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up.

This is the law governing the land of Palestine in the Islamic Sharia (law) and the same goes for any land the MOSLEMS HAVE CONQUERED BY FORCE because during the times of (ISLAMIC CONQUESTS), the Moslems consecrated these lands to Moslem generations till the Day of Judgement.

    ARTICLE EIGHT:

Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Koran its constitution: Jihad is its path and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes.

    ARTICLE THIRTEEN

There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors. The Palestinian people know better than to consent to having their future, rights and fate toyed with.

What do any of these articles have to do with Hitler Viva?

Such inflammatory and baseless comments only reflect on your extremism.

It is the Palestinians who are the true heirs to Hitler.

    Who would disagree with this?

The early Zionists most certainly would.
