The Thirty Years War

Michael Ledeen is recycling the argument that seeing as we’re already at war with Iran (like we were with Iraq between 1990 and 2003), if the US were to start bombing tomorrow, it would be no big deal.

Michael “The Ayatollah Is Dead!” Ledeen:

I don’t know what the administration is planning to do, although I’ve been told that the accounts in the NY Times and WaPo are both wrong (and they can’t both be right, since they disagree), but I do know that Iran has been at war with us for nearly thirty years, and we are only now groping towards some sort of serious policy.

I often wonder why, if in fact Iran Has Been At War With Us Since 1979, Ledeen committed treason by selling them missiles.
