What bloggers do

Why blogging matters (and academics who don’t understand the technology should really just enjoy their last days praising the “accountable” mainstream media and be on their merry way.)

    A vidcast is worth …

I have been an addicted plogger since July. My ‘Labor View from Broome’ has had about 700 visits at an average of 20 per day but attracted only a couple of comments per week. I suspect that’s the rate for the popular blogs too. Peope are too busy to write or don’t feel inclined.

Placed a 10 sec video ‘About John Howard’ on YouTube the other day which has attracted more than 50 visits per day. The TV generations! It has stiff competition as there are nearly 1000 John Howard posts in their video section, mostly negative.

If you visit, please add to the debate or at least post the plog on to friends. Otherwise we are the Miss Media. I asked On Line Opinion to feature a blog that’s not East coast and mass media but they rejected it.
