We were given the full set of Twin Peaks DVDs last year and watched the lot before leaving Broome in May. A sad comment on the current state of Oz TV.

The brilliance of the early episodes of Series 1 matched my memories of their original season. Unfortunately the network had their own ideas about how the plot should develop and ruined a unique experience.

David Lynch is definitely an original. When listening to his insights into the creative process you have to wonder how his ideas translate into his best work.
