   Isn’t it more of the same? Whilst Obama talks about a grassroots campaign, it is still managed by the PR industry. Most American’s don’t know what the candidates policies are, and are much more likely to vote based on personality or a hunch. Even the new young people supporting Obama couldn’t outline his health policy. Both candidates are keeping it ambiguous and they like it that way. Despite there being 80% support in the US for government guaranteeing every American has a healthcare policy, given the booths in America are themselves run by the Pharamceautical Industry, neither candidate wants that harsh fact coming to influence their campaigns given the amount that US elections are now one or lost based on the intricacies of electoral law and the different rules and systems in each state.

   This is not an election about policies. This is another advertising campaign. Most Americans, as usual, will not vote, and it is not because they are apathetic, its because the political process and the choice of candidates is on a par with the choice of Health Plan, or a Credit Card. Its a consumer choice, not a political one.
