Today I was interviewed by CNN International about my new book, Pills, Powder and Smoke: Inside the Bloody War on Drugs.
Interviewed by anchor Michael Holmes in the US, I was in Jerusalem, we discussed why the drug war is so brutal (because Western demand for drugs is huge), how a nation like Honduras is caught in the middle and contributes to the refugee flow towards the US and why legalisation and regulation are the most sensible solutions to finally ending the “war on drugs”.
CNN has a massive global audience and today included the US market, too.
