When one thinks of the American political elite, it’s far too easy (and correct) to presume that the vast majority of Congressmen and women are either utterly petrified of the Zionist lobby or simply believe that Israel’s occupation policies are acceptable. A few do not, including Brian Baird and Keith Ellison, and they should be praised by attempting to alleviate the suffering in Gaza:
