Israeli peace group, Gush Shalom, in Haaretz on August 12:
The day after tomorrow, the curtain will rise on the great play: the head-on clash between Ariel Sharon and the settlers.
The day after the disengagement, Sharon and the settlers will form again a common front, in order to prevent the dismantling of the West Bank settlements.
The Israeli public, which supports the withdrawal from Gaza, must demand its continuation in the West Bank, so as to enable us to lead, at long last, a normal life in our state.
