Hot on the heels of the farcical Fort Dix Six bust, the US authorities bring us a re-run of more keystone cop threats.
Authorities have arrested three suspects and are in pursuit of a fourth in connection to a plot to blow up a fuel line running through New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
No sooner had news of a foiled plot been released to the public, had the facade of the stunt begin to fall away.
Officials viewed the alleged plotters as a credible threat, but sources said they apparently did not have the technical savvy to carry out the plot.
One official said the plan “was not technically feasible.” Officials added that the alleged plotters had no explosives and had not yet figured out a way to get some.
Perhaps it’s time they tried using a different script?
