I am always fond of those retro dur sturmer classics.
If the guy on the left were the President of France would there be less “dur sturmerish” (i.e. racist)?
No, its nice the way it is: Jews with big noses and grotesque facies controlling the world and having Amerikka doing their bidding.
Agreed Captain,
The bit about the big noses and grotesque faces, controlling the world is very cliche.
Where do I get one of those flushable flags?
Captain May 25th, 2006 at 12:44 pm
I chose France because the first guy I thought of on seeing the cartoon was French President Jacques Chirac!
Its an amazing insight into your mind that you are so insensitive to the antisemitism that Ant seems to regularly promote.
Captain
Interesting that while both leaders are depicted in an unflatering characatures, you only botherd to comment on Olmert’s depiction.
This is because portraying Bush as a chimp is not a reflection of national characteristics but merely a cliched personal attack. The Jewish stereotypes are to be found commonly in the Nazi genre and are uniform and predictable. I am sorry that this eluded you Addumbo.
That may be so, but word has it that Olmert is endowed with a sizeable nose, a receeding hairline, noticeable fron lines and pronounces nasial labial folds. How would you have the artist represent that?
Ahhh, let me think. In a way that was not stereotypically antisemitic?
Where did you get the idea that the cartoon was anti-Semitic?
On the contrary, rather than being anti-American and anti-Semitic, I thought the cartoon was Islamophobically racist and anti-Palestinian in that it represented the Palestinian leader as a toilet seat. Now you can’t get more grosteque than that – sterotyping and labelling the entire nation of Palestine and the Islamic world as being one big toilet bowl. A toilet which comes with a flush…
I declare a fatwa against that infidel pig cartoonist who drew the cartoon not to mention the infidel zionist pigs who control and run that zionist newspaper “The Independent.”
At least you have a sense of humour Comical.
Captain, so what your saying is that any depictiobn of Olmert that looks anything like Olmert is anti-Semitic? Okeeeeeeeeeey.
Can you write in English rather than arabicojibberish?
Oh Captain,
Have you already run out fo logical arguments that it’s gottent that bad that all you can do now is troll this forum and correct people’s typos?
Captain May 26th, 2006 at 10:57 am
But I thought he looked kinda like a French President rather than a Nazi setreotype. Are you trying to suggest that Jacques Chirac looks like a Nazi stereotype?
