Just think, as the US is bogged down in Iraq and its leaders issue ever-more ludicrous predictions of “victory” – and let’s not forget former Iraqi PM Ayad Allawi’s comments that civil war is already occurring in his country – perhaps the Bush administration needs a new tactic. A “rallying cry” to convince the American public of the need for another catastrophic military adventure. Consider that discussion right now. Are these people journalists, spin doctors or paid lobbyists?
While a majority of Australians now want our troops out of Iraq, the question remains as to whether Howard would offer military assistance to any US-led strike against Iran. Unless, of course, the government is too busy monitoring every workplace in the country.
