They matter, too

The UK Sunday Times agrees with Seymour Hersh that a military strike against Iran is being planned:

What is going on at the White House? Is Bush really contemplating a strike against Iran or might his officials simply be talking up the possibility to strengthen their negotiating hand with Iran? If military action were to be launched, what would be the consequences for America, the Middle East and Britain?

Note the lack of interest in the Iranian people themselves. A bombing campaign against the Islamic state would have devastating consequences for the Iranian people, and yet the paper prefers to focus on ramifications for the West.
